Multi-Agency Training and other Learning Opportunities

Liverpool Safeguarding Children Board delivers a comprehensive range of high quality training for multi-agency managers and practitioners. Training is delivered on a monthly basis facilitated by the LSCB Training Coordinator and members of the LSCB Training Pool.

Check out our Training Calendar 2017.

Dates of forthcoming courses 2017.

NEW to the Calendar this year.

  • Responding to Concerns about Self Harm
  • Spotlight on …sessions
  • Open Space events

All our training courses are multi agency and free of charge to most organisations. Local Practitioners working with children, young people and their families can attend. Places are limited to a maximum of four places per organisation unless otherwise stated.

For further information about our commitment to training please refer to our Safeguarding Competency Framework.

Which course is right for me?

The level of training needed depends on the role and level of contact with children and families. All LSCB Training activities are targeted at different groups of people dependent on their safeguarding roles and responsibilities. These groups are explained here. (Which course should I attend?)

How do I book?

Places on any of our courses can be requested by fully completing and returning our booking form. If you are successful, your place will be confirmed by email. If your preferred date is not available you will be offered a place on the next available date. Please note, we will apply a charge where places are booked and there is either a ‘no show’ or where cancellations have not been submitted within five working days prior to the event. This will apply to ALL agencies.
